From the side, a sleek silhouette meets strong wheel-arch shoulders, while the contrasting D-pillar adds a distinctive floating roof effect.
INTERIOR
The centre console boasts a sleek floating design with generous storage. The touchscreen is ideally placed for easy access on the move, letting you adjust the air conditioning with a three-finger gesture on the 12.8-inch multi-touch display. Meanwhile, the multi-function steering wheel allows you to manage cruise control and media without lifting your hands.
EV POWER
The BYD SEALION 5 is powered by BYD’s advanced Super Hybrid DM technology. “DM,” or Dual Mode, allows the vehicle to run as both a hybrid—combining electric power and petrol—and a fully electric car, offering up to 86 km of pure electric range with its dual Blade Batteries.
Its intelligent control system (the “i” in DM‑i) optimises hybrid efficiency, achieving fuel consumption as low as 2.1 L/100 km. With a full charge and tank, the SEALION 5 Super Hybrid can cover up to 1,016 km.
The BYD SEALION 5 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance features, including Adaptive and Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Speed Limit Control, and front and rear collision warnings. It also offers Traffic Sign Recognition, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Prevention, and Hill Hold Control.Safety is further enhanced with seven airbags, ISOFIX and i-Size mounting points, a mechanical child lock, and an automatic door locking system.
Stay connected with built-in 4G and BYD cloud services through the BYD app. Intelligent voice control (“Hi, BYD”) keeps every journey effortless, while Android Auto and Apple CarPlay ensure seamless connectivity on the move. Built-in NFC also provides quick, convenient keyless entry when your hands are full.
Eco-friendly vegan leather seats combine style with durability and stain resistance. The driver’s seat offers six-way electric adjustment with heating, while the front passenger seat comes with four-way power adjustment and heating.
