If your selected All-Electric Ford Explorer or Capri no longer qualifies for the SEAI EV grant under the new price cap, Finlay Ford Naas will provide an equivalent €3,500 dealer contribution.

A clear answer to the grant change
No SEAI €3,500? No problem.
From 1 August 2026, the maximum full price for a privately purchased passenger EV to qualify for the €3,500 SEAI grant is €50,000. That means some Explorer and Capri models may no longer qualify. On selected affected models, Finlay Ford Naas will provide an equivalent €3,500 dealer contribution instead.

This is a Finlay Ford Naas dealer contribution and is not a grant funded, approved or administered by SEAI. Selected vehicles, retail private customers, offer period, availability and additional eligibility criteria apply. Offer cannot be exchanged for cash. Contact Finlay Ford Naas for written confirmation that your chosen vehicle qualifies before purchase.

0% APR available on selected All-Electric Ford Explorer and Capri 3-year Ford Options plans. Minimum deposit of 10% required. Lending criteria and conditions apply. Over 18s only. Offer available on selected models ordered and registered by 30 September 2026 at participating Ford Dealers, unless withdrawn or amended earlier. Your motor dealer may be paid a commission by Ford Credit for arranging your finance agreement; ask the dealer for details of the commission arrangements and how much they may receive. Consumer Hire Purchase agreement provided by Bank of Ireland trading as Ford Credit. Ownership remains with Ford Credit until the optional final payment is made. Bank of Ireland trading as Ford Credit is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Battery warranty applies for up to 8 years/160,000 km, whichever occurs first, subject to warranty terms. The 5-year Free Servicing Plan, breakdown cover, towing assistance, FordPass services and BlueOval™ Charge Network access are subject to their applicable programme and connected-service terms.
