Ford’s advanced hybrid technology is designed to deliver a cleaner, quieter, more sophisticated approach to hybrid SUV driving.

Equally as sophisticated, the Kuga EcoBlue Diesel (FWD and AWD) offer advanced non-hybrid engine options. The choice is yours.

A seamless blend of petrol and electric power

Kuga’s advanced Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) technology combines a battery-powered electric motor with a 2.5-litre Duratec petrol engine. The hybrid battery can be recharged at home or public charging stations. Energy recaptured while braking also helps charge the battery as you drive. Fully charged, the Kuga PHEV can drive up to 56km§ on electric power alone, and a total hybrid driving range of up to 748 Km. 

The smarter diesel option

The Kuga 1.5 and 2.0 litre EcoBlue diesel engines, feature the latest technology to improve power, torque and fuel economy, whilst reducing emissions. At 120 PS for the 1.5 litre and 190 PS for the 2.0, the Kuga diesel engines deliver impressive power output, with AWD available too. And depending on which you choose, you’ll also have the option of a manual or advanced automatic transmission.
