Ford Expands Ranger Line-Up with New PHEV Models and Tech
Ford Pro announced enhancements for Ranger designed to maintain segment leadership in design, capability, technology and safety.
The Ranger PHEV line-up now includes Platinum and Limited models in addition to XLT, Wildtrak and MS-RT, offering greater choice for customers seeking no-compromise plug-in hybrid capability. Ranger PHEV also introduces Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving — a segment-first innovation.
Design upgrades across the range include darker interior and exterior themes, new textures, colours and alloy wheels. Technology enhancements now standard on all Ranger series include a 12-inch central touchscreen, a 12.4-inch configurable digital instrument cluster, and Trailer Theft Alert with Ford connected services.
The Ford Ranger has now achieved ten consecutive years as Europe’s best-selling pickup, reinforced by the recent launch of the award-winning Ranger PHEV — named International Pick-up of the Year 2026/2027.
The enhanced Ranger simplifies its powertrain offering while maximising performance and efficiency.
Ford BlueCruise makes Ranger PHEV the first pickup in Europe to offer “hands-off, eyes-on” driving. Standard on Ranger Platinum PHEV and optional on Wildtrak PHEV, BlueCruise has now been approved across 16 European markets.
Inspired by contemporary trends in architecture, furniture and premium equipment, Ranger now adopts darker textures and finishes throughout.
Ranger Platinum PHEV introduces Ebony Gloss Black exterior elements, exclusive Acacia Green paint, new 18-inch alloy wheels and an enhanced interior featuring Dark Chrome detailing and quilted Ebony leather seating.
Across the range, interior and exterior elements now feature Ebony Gloss Black, Asphalt Black Matt and Magnetite finishes. Additional highlights include exclusive Ignite Orange accents on Ranger Wildtrak and upgraded seating details inspired by premium adventure gear.
Standard equipment on Ranger Platinum includes Matrix LED headlamps, 360 Zone Lighting, power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, SYNC 4A infotainment with 12-inch touchscreen, and a fully digital instrument display.
The enhanced Ranger line-up will be available to order from late December 2025, with deliveries beginning May 2026.
